A Sioux Falls First

The SEFSA Memorial Tournament on June 21 – 22 played host to a first-ever Sioux Falls event ~ the inclusion of two Sioux Falls teams from the same club in the championship game!

Fusion Black and Fusion Orange faced off in their first game of the tournament, with Black coming out on top and sending Orange on the long road through the loser’s bracket.

After facing five other opponents (SD Flash, SF Fury, Brookings Blast, Yankton Spitfire, and SF Heat) with decisive wins, Fusion Orange came full circle back to Fusion Black. It was a well-fought game, with Black coming out on top to take the championship late on Sunday afternoon.

Congratulations to Black on their championship and to Orange for their well-fought battle throughout the weekend, including allowing only 10 runs in Sunday’s five games. Both sets of trophies will look good upon the shelves and the weekend experience for both teams will last a lifetime.
