Having Fun While Raising "Funds"

Fusion 14U Black spent the evening raising money for their team by bussing tables at the Pizza Ranch on 41st Street in Sioux Falls.
All team members were asked to help out by inviting friends and family to the event. We had no idea it would be this big. Pizza Ranch told us the most any group had raised was about $300 dollars. We didn't just beat that number, we more than doubled it. The grand total was $785 dollars. Every penny of that goes back to our team. You should all be proud of how much you helped our team tonight. Please make sure to thank everyone you know who came to support us tonight, including the other Fusion teams when you see them. We will return the favor June 9th.
You should also be extremely proud of how well you represented the Fusion teams tonight. You looked sharp, worked hard, and from what we could tell, had a lot of fun. One of the things we can't teach you at practice is how to be friends, but between Saturday night and tonight, you have all figured that part out. Trent, Darrell, Sarah, Scott and I can show you everything we know, but when you ladies step on the field, it will be you who have to know and trust each other. As the season moves forward, we may find out that the $785 dollars you raised tonight was the second most important reason you were all there.
