Fusion-96 Wins Consolation Championship and Takes 3rd At Chaska Invitational Pool play began Saturday morning in a light rain against a team from Stillwater MN. Fusion96 came on top 14-2. Anna Nichols was named by the Stillwater team as the games MVP. She received an award and her picture was placed on the Board of Honor with other team MVP’s. Fusion Black Volunteers at Miracle Field Fusion Black had a wonderful experience volunteering at the Miracle Field last week. The Miracle Field is a specially designed baseball field which allows children with wheelchairs and other disabilities the opportunity to play. There were enough special needs children to make up four teams. We were able to help at two games 6:00 and 7:30 pm. There were two bus loads of kids from Children's Care Hospital and School and the other two teams were made up of children from SD, MN and IA. SD Fusion Black go 4-1 at Irish Bash
It was another successful weekend of softball for the South Dakota Fusion Black May 30-31 at the Irish Bash in Rosemount MN. Fusion went 3-0 in pool play Saturday and got to within one game of the championship before bowing out Sunday afternoon. Read More>> |

16’s Travel to Brandon
The 16u Fusion ladies traveled to Brandon for a late night double header on May 5th 2009. With only a couple weeks left of school the girls had more on their minds than just softball. It was that time of year to start cramming for finals, and that they did, between innings! Fusion beat the Lady Lynx in the double header 2-0 and 3-0. |

Congratulations!
The 16u Fusion would like to congratulate;
Fusion Orange on their Championship victory at the Lincoln May Day Classic, way to get it done ladies!
Fusion 96 went to Woodbury MN and also came out with a Championship trophy; I have been telling everyone that you are the team to watch now and in the future! Keep working hard!
